Hi Dad...I'm very sad right now because Nova just passed away in my arms. He was diagnosed with cancer this past week. A week ago he couldn't walk suddenly so I took him to vet who suggested seeing the specialist in Sarasota where we took Aimee. She said it was cancer and no cure so he was on medicine and steroids. He improved a lot, could get up by himself and walk. Then he stopped eating, but still drank a lot of water, then today he didn't even want water. He tried and tried to fight it but couldn't make it. I cried while he was in my arms because he was really a nice dog even though he barked a lot. When he stoppped barking last week I knew something must be wrong. We will all miss him and the dogs have been very nice to Nova. Darcy would lay by him a lot. We never really knew his age for sure when we got him but I think he was 13 or 14. Guess you'll be seeing him at the Rainbow Bridge. I will miss him a lot. He and Dexter always wanted to be around me. I haven't been feeling well myself and was very stressed out with Nova's illness. I will take him to be cremated and place him with you because he was your good friend too. Give Nova a big kiss for me. Love ya always, Sandy
